What to Expect
You’ll be greeted by an usher as you enter the building. They’ll give you a service bulletin and are happy to answer any questions you have.
We want you to feel comfortable as you worship with us. At both services you’ll find individuals dressed in their “Sunday best” as well as those more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. Dress is a matter of personal preference — we welcome you to come as you are!
We love having kids in worship — wiggles and all! Ask an usher for an activity bag that’s been prepared for your kids to use during the service. On every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, we invite children to the front for a special Children’s Message during the service. A staffed nursery is always available during services. It’s down the hall from the sanctuary and to the right.
Services are usually about an hour long.

Worship
Our 8:30 a.m. service uses liturgy and hymns from the Lutheran Service Book, with music led by the organ.
Our 11 a.m. service blends traditional elements of worship with contemporary praise songs led by the Worship Team.
St. John’s also offers adult Bible classes and children’s Sunday School.
