Visiting a new church can be intimidating, so we’ve prepared this website as a guide for what you can expect at St. John’s.

Journey to the Cross and Empty Tomb
We have additional opportunities to worship together throughout the season of Lent. During midweek services, we’ll consider “The Places of the Passion,” with guest preachers from other LCMS churches in Decatur. Come at 5 p.m. for dinner together before worship!
- Midweek Lenten services: Wednesdays, Feb. 18-March 25, @ 6:00 p.m., dinner at 5:00 p.m.
- Palm Sunday: March 29 @ 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
- Maundy Thursday: April 2, @ 6:00 p.m.
- Good Friday: April 3 @ 6:00 p.m.
- Easter Sunday: April 5 @ 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
